Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2025

Core principle: on-device by default

Sligen is built for confidentiality. Processing happens on your machine. We do not transmit your audio, transcripts, or summaries to our servers, and we do not train on your data.

What we don’t collect
  • Audio, transcripts, or generated summaries
  • Client/matter identifiers or metadata
  • Prompts, embeddings, or usage telemetry
  • Analytics or advertising cookies
What we do collect (minimal)
  • Payments: processed by Stripe. Sligen does not store card details.
  • License checks: the app may briefly contact our licensing service to validate an active license (e.g., license ID and app version). No content is sent.
  • Support: if you email us, we receive the information you provide (e.g., email address, crash logs you choose to share).
Connectivity & offline use

After installation, Sligen runs offline. Periodic license verification may require a short internet connection; once validated, you can continue offline. Verification never includes client content.

Cookies (website)

We avoid analytics and advertising cookies. If a strictly necessary cookie is used (e.g., session/CSRF for account or checkout), it is limited to site operation.

Your responsibility

Sligen does not store your work by default. Please save or export your drafts before closing a session and comply with your firm’s retention and security policies (e.g., encrypted drives, access controls).
